Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC is hiring a CDL A Driver to transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste and support emergency response activities. You will operate various vehicles, load/unload waste, and perform site duties under supervision.

A clean CDL‑A with tanker and hazmat endorsements, 40-hour HAZWOPER (preferred), and ability to travel are required. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and teamwork within a family‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 2 years of Class A driving experience.
Current CDL A with clean driving record and tanker/hazmat endorsements.
No manual or airbrake restrictions is required.
HAZWOPER training (40-hour) preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety is the priority and follow all safety policies.
Document and adhere to transportation compliance requirements (inspections, logs, reports).
Primarily local work with occasional out-of-town travel; participate in OT routes when available.
Load and unload waste materials efficiently.
Operate light and heavy equipment (skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer).
Attend training to earn required certifications and maintain paperwork.
Work on-call on a rotating schedule for emergency responses and travel as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow PPE procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
