Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is hiring Transportation/Linehaul Drivers in Indiana for full-time work. The position pays a mileage rate of $0.84 per mile with an average weekly pay of about $2,300.

The role emphasizes stability, new equipment, and a solid benefits package. Responsibilities include safe operation of the vehicle, daily inspections, and timely transportation between Service Centers. A valid Class A CDL with HazMat/Tank endorsements, DOT medical card, and the ability to pass a drug

Qualifications

• Minimum 23 years old
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
• No DUI or Reckless Conviction in the past 3 years
• No moving violations in the past 3 years (≤2)
• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tank endorsements
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
• Able to pass a drug screen
• Fluent in English
• Legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload freight between Service Centers
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on tractor/trailer
• Affix placards to tractor/trailer when required
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
• Interact with internal customers
• Operate forklift to unload/load when indicated
• Be available for irregular schedules and long trips
• Adhere to operational procedures and guidelines
