Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Des Moines, IA seeks a delivery driver to support America's food distribution system. You will drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck, deliver and unload orders, and maintain safety standards on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license and DOT Health Card.
• 0–6 months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Post-offer drug test and criminal background check required.
• Road test must be passed.
• DOT Health Card must be current or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Deliver and unload orders to customer locations on schedule.
• Complete required paperwork and fuel/inspection logs accurately.
• Secure trailers and equipment after each shift and ensure freight is protected.
