Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring truck drivers to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. You will operate tractor trailers or straight trucks, follow DOT regulations, and maintain safety standards while ensuring timely delivery to customers.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, 21+ years of age, and a clean motor vehicle record. Expect 4-5 day workweeks with layovers and possible Saturdays, with Health & Wellness benefits starting Day 1 and strong retirement and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks per DOT regulations and inspects tractor/truck and trailer.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Delivers customer orders according to predetermined route schedule and unloads freight.
• Completes required paperwork and ensures proper signatures and cash handling when required.
