Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an experienced delivery driver to support America’s food distribution system. The role involves operating tractor trailers or straight trucks on multiple routes, delivering and unloading goods, and maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

You will interact with customers and teammates to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery. The position requires a CDL A, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background, drug, and road tests.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check; pass road test.
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Drives tractor-trailer or straight truck on routes delivering and unloading products.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) according to DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Reports safety issues and required repairs promptly.
• Ensures paperwork is accurate and legible for freight documentation.
• Verifies delivery with customers and collects signatures where required.
