Local Delivery Driver - Class B CDL

Location: Des Moines, IA

Base Pay Range: $20.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Class B Delivery Driver based out of our Des Moines Branch. We are a local, family‑owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. What you’ll do:

• Safety first: safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines.
• Operate and unload in varying weather conditions.
• Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.

What we look for:

• Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older.
• Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route).
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry).
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen.
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders.
• Must be comfortable driving a straight truck.
