Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver for intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food and related products. You will act as the face of the company, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries while building lasting customer relationships.

The role requires 21+ years of age, a valid CDL-A, 12+ months driving experience, and a clean MVR. You must pass a post-offer drug test and background check, and be able to lift up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL-A license required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Deliver and unload food and related products to customers safely and timely.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety inspections per DOT guidelines.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and signatures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
