Job summary

American Driver is hiring Class A drivers for regional freight out of Statesboro, GA. You’ll run miles east of I-35 with mostly drop-and-hook loads, home for weekends after 2 days at home. Training available for new CDL-A holders, with paid weeks during the program.

Expect 6 months of OTR or CDL-training-based entry, a 12-on/2-off schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days. Orientation pay and hotel/mileage coverage are included.

• Has or is pursuing a Class A CDL and able to operate over-the-road routes.
• Minimum 6 months OTR driving experience or completion of CDL training program.
• Maintains a clean driving record and passes pre-employment checks.

Job description

First time behind the wheel of your own truck, or looking for a fresh start? We're hiring Class A drivers out of the Statesboro area, running regional freight east of I-35, no NYC five-borough runs.

The Truck

• Assigned 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner, automatic
• APU equipped, no slip seating
• Pet and passenger policy available from day one

The Load

• No-touch dry van freight, roughly 70% drop and hook
• Weekly miles typically 2,200 to 2,800

Your Paycheck

• Average $1,300–$1,550 per week, top performers $1,800+
• 12 days on the road, 2 days home
• $300 orientation pay, hotel and transportation included

Training

• New CDL-A holders welcome to apply
• 4 to 6 weeks paid, one-on-one with an experienced mentor, guaranteed pay throughout
• Transition to full solo pay once you complete the program

What's Required

• 21 or older, valid Class A CDL, current DOT Medical Card

• 6 months recent OTR experience, or completion of an accredited CDL training program (120+ hours)
