Friedkin is seeking a pay-for-performance car hauler driver. Earners can reach substantial first-year totals with strong productivity, safety, and mileage performance. Training and orientation pay are included, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive fleet team.

Drivers run regular interstate lanes across TX, LA, OK, AR, MS, AL, GA, with weekly home time and predictable schedules. Applicants should have CDL A and relevant regional experience, plus a clean record and pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of regional experience operating a Class 8 tractor and minimum 41' trailer.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and DOT medical certificate.
• High school diploma or GED; 23+ years old.
• Successful pre-employment screening, drug test, and road test.
• Primary residence within 150 miles of the assigned terminal.

Responsibilities

• Operate interstate routes across TX, LA, OK, AR, MS, AL, GA.
• Maintain a weekly mileage standard (e.g., 2,250 miles) and up to the 70-hour HOS limit.
• Prioritize safety, efficiency, and on-time deliveries.
• Use ELDs, apps, and onboard technology to manage routes and logs.
• Coordinate with fleet management for driver support and communication.

Job description

This is a pay-for-performance car hauler position with clear productivity standards. Drivers who are safe, efficient, organized, and motivated to keep freight moving earn very well.

Pay and Benefits

• Expected first-year driver earnings: $85,000-$95,000 when meeting performance standards
• Drivers with 2-4 years of service often earn $105,000-$115,000 annually based on performance

Route, Schedule, and Home Time

Requirements

• Preferred: At least two (2) years of auto transport experience with 9-10 car trailer within the past five years and/or previous experience with flatbed, tanker, or food service deliveries
• Minimum: At least two (2) years of regional experience operating a Class 8 tractor and minimum 41' trailer
• Demonstrated stable work history
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and DOT medical certificate
• Ability to drive passenger motor vehicles with manual transmission
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 23 years of age
• Successful pre-employment screening, drug test, and road test
• Primary residence within 150 miles of the assigned terminal
