Performance Foodservice in Minnesota seeks an entry level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer or straight truck deliveries intrastate and interstate. You will support routes, perform safety checks, and interact professionally with customers while progressing through training.

The role offers a guaranteed daily pay of $325 with an average earnings around $80,000 annually and top performers above $100,000. Includes Day 1 health benefits and a $10k sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 60–90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete required training program for entry level driver trainee.
• Ride with driver trainer to learn deliveries.
• Perform safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Deliver orders on predetermined route schedule.
• Unload, verify invoices and obtain customer signatures.
• Record hours of service and complete daily logs.
• Maintain clean tractor, dock area and trailers.
