PFG Customized Distribution is seeking a CDL-A Driver for routes based in Porter, Indiana. You will drive tractor trailers and straight trucks serving intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring on-time deliveries of food and related products while adhering to all DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally and timely.
• Operates as part of a team to serve the company.
• Performs pre/post-trip safety checks as per DOT regulations.
• Reports safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Ensures proper loading/unloading and secures freight.
• Delivers orders on schedule and obtains customer signatures.
• Maintains accurate paperwork and records for shipments.
