Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements (where applicable).
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meets PFG Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) requirements for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Meet PFG FMCSA Clearinghouse Requirements.
• Pass road test.
• Able to secure new DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT-required safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards immediately.
• Inspect cargo, verify counts against invoices, and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Securely park and lock equipment; unload damaged goods and returns and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Maintain daily logs and hours-of-service compliance per DOT/state/company policies.
• Uphold safety standards and handle freight properly throughout delivery process.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all company policies.
