Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products in the Mansfield, TX area. The role requires at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, valid DOT compliance, and a DOT Medical Card.

Drivers will perform safety checks, handle paperwork, and ensure timely, safe deliveries. The position offers day‑1 health benefits, participation plans, and retirement matching, with a 4–5 day work week and Mon–Sat availability.

Qualifications

• 1 year commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must meet PFG MVR requirements for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to secure a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer load and verify freight against invoices; complete required paperwork.
• Secure tractor, trailer and freight and maintain security.
• Unload damaged goods and returns; complete end-of-shift procedures.
• Maintain daily records and hours of service per company policies.
