Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to deliver goods on local routes with home daily. The role runs Monday through Friday from 4pm to 12am, offering a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

You will operate tractors and box trucks, handle dock loading, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety policies. A sign-on bonus is available and benefits include health, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment within the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A current valid CDL A license and a safe driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience moving multiple trailer types (tanks, vans, flatbeds) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractors pulling 53-foot trailers and box trucks in and around the site or on public roads.
• Touch freight by loading and unloading at docks.
• Drive safely and follow all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate deliveries.

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on‑time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A current valid CDL A license and a safe driving record

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
