Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver based in Evansville, IN. You will operate a tractor trailer and deliver food service products to customers, maintain safety standards, and complete routes with accuracy.

The role requires 12+ months of driving experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass background checks. Benefits start Day 1, including health coverage, uniforms, safety boot allowance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR over past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Obtain/maintain DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck per DOT regulations.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections and report issues.
• Deliver orders on scheduled routes, unload and verify paperwork.
• Secure freight and ensure vehicle and loads are safely latched.
• Complete required hours-of-service logs and general housekeeping.
