Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to join our distribution team in the United States. You will operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring on-time delivery of food and related products to customers while upholding DOT safety standards.

The role includes a welcome bonus of $6,000, a guaranteed weekly pay of $1,350, and annual pay typically between $70,000 and $80,000.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test and maintain DOT Health Card.

Aufgaben

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Performs safety checks prior to and after trips as required by DOT.
• Inspects tractor/trailer and ensures safe loading and secure freight.
• Drives and delivers customer orders according to route schedule.
• Obtains signatures and handles payment collection where required.
• Completes daily hours-of-service records per DOT and company rules.
• Keeps equipment, loading dock area, and trailers clean and organized.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
