VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC seeks a CDL Class A Driver in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Your role will include hauling hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and safely transport hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
• Maintain the appearance of company equipment to meet company standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, and traffic violations.

Job Summary

The CDL Class A Driver will haul hazardous and non‑hazardous waste and support operations during high‑demand times.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and safely transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous materials and operating all fleet and facility equipment.
• Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining the appearance of company equipment to meet company standards.
• Interfacing and creating a Wow! experience for clients at the point of delivery.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after pickups.
• Efficiently operating a manual transmission (no automatic restriction).
• Willing to do overnight runs.
• Ability to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks).
• Ability to identify and report equipment malfunction or damage.

Requirements

• CDL Driver must have a good driving history and pass background check.
• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Must be willing to obtain a TWIC card.
• CDL Driver must pass DOT drug screen, physical, and road test.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Driving experience and tanker experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• The employee must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• This position requires wearing personal protective equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (lifting, pulling, and loading hoses, pumping totes, and drums).
