Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Florida is seeking an experienced driver to operate a range of environmental trucks, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, to support hazardous waste cleanup and transportation activities.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, and participate in emergency response and remediation tasks, all while following OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and maintaining a strong safety focus. 1–2 years of driving experience with a clean record is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• 1–2 years of driving experience with a clean record.
• Knowledge of safety standards and environmental procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and wear PPE.

Role Overview: This position involves operating various heavy and light-duty trucks, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, to support environmental response, hazardous waste cleanup, and transportation activities. The driver will perform both driving and non-driving field duties, such as soil excavation, waste removal, confined space entry, and site decontamination, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Safely operate and maintain environmental response equipment and vehicles, prepare work areas, complete safety documentation, and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Participate in emergency response and remediation tasks while adhering to OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections, secure loads, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma, valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred, and 1–2 years of driving experience with a clean record. Knowledge of safety standards, environmental procedures, and basic mechanical skills required. Must have physical ability to lift heavy loads, work in various weather conditions, and wear PPE.
