McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move products to customer locations with safety and reliability. You will inspect vehicles, manage logs, unload deliveries, and ensure accuracy of shipments according to DOT requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and adherence to company policies, with a schedule supporting a 4-day work week and comprehensive benefits. Successful candidates will maintain professional operations on site at our Omaha location.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving.
• Meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsabilités

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and vehicle handling.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and temps.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: Drivers average $90,000 to $95,000 per year.
• Experienced drivers can earn over $100K.

What You’ll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
