Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move goods safely and reliably in North Carolina. You will be part of a team focused on on-time deliveries, safety compliance, and strong client relationships. Shift: 3rd - Overnight, Location: Conover, NC, with a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Candidate must read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit a DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of driving regulations and maneuvering skill.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and temperatures.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver

Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate
