US FOODS in Norwich, CT is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team. You will safely deliver products to customers, back into docks, and unload with precision while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Starting pay is $35.76 per hour, rising to $40.24 after 6 months, with weekly pay and a $5,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires; benefits begin day one, including health care and retirement savings.

Qualificações

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A with DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.

Responsabilidades

• Safe driving and timely product deliveries to customers.
• Unloading with two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand with 100% touch freight.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain safety standards.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Handle collections/payments when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
