Job summary

US Foods in Norwich, CT is hiring a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves driving a company vehicle with GVW up to 25,900 lbs to perform multi-stop deliveries of foodservice products, ensuring high-quality service to customers.

You will be responsible for safe driving, unloading with hand carts or ramps, route navigation, and delivering to customer locations across a multi-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• One-year multi-stop delivery experience required or 6 months local delivery experience and/or foodservice experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unload products using a hand truck or two-wheeler.
• Move products into customer locations and manage stair deliveries as needed.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Document and manage any returned products.
• Report delivery or customer issues to supervisor/Customer Service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Support additional duties assigned by management.
