US Foods in Norwich, CT is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team. You will navigate highways and city streets, back into docks, unload with precision, verify deliveries, and deliver trusted service to our customers.

Starting pay ranges from $35.76 to $40.24 per hour with weekly pay and a $5,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires; schedule includes early morning shifts, working Monday through Saturday with Sundays off.

Qualificações

• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Able to read and communicate in English.
• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse as required by DOT.

Responsabilidades

• Safe driving delivering products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unload products using available equipment and place in designated storage areas (100% touch freight).
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
