Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an experienced delivery driver in Florence, SC to transport building materials to customer sites using a CDL-A vehicle. You will load/unload, secure cargo, and ensure on-time, undamaged deliveries while upholding safety standards.

Role requires a valid CDL-A, a valid driver’s license, a minimal 1 year of delivery driving experience, and a safety-first mindset. A forklift may be used; strong math and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license and a Class A CDL.
• A minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience.
• 2 years of CDL driving experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified delivery sites and maneuver vehicles safely.
• Assist with loading/unloading and secure product for transport.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, miles, locations, and item counts for accuracy.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and safety checks on vehicles.
