Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a CDL A delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites in a safe, efficient manner. You will load, secure, and unload shipments, maintain delivery logs, and ensure on-time arrivals while acting as a courteous customer liaison.

The role demands 21+ years old with a Class A CDL, clean MVR, and the ability to read and communicate in English. A DOT medical card is required within five days of request, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, Class A CDL.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR as required.
• DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math & measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified delivery sites and unload when needed.
• Maneuver delivery vehicles, secure loads, and protect goods and property.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, and locations; verify against invoices.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and address concerns.
• Perform safety checks and comply with DVIR and HOS requirements.
• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment as needed.
