Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Lakeville, MN is seeking a professional Delivery Driver (Class A CDL) to transport materials to customer sites. You will operate delivery trucks over 26,000 pounds, ensure on-time arrivals, and provide courteous service.

Responsibilities include loading, securing loads, verifying orders, maintaining logs, and adhering to safety rules and DVIR/HOS requirements. A valid CDL, clean MVR, and English literacy are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license and Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year delivery driving experience; 2 years CDL driving preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English; basic math & measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified delivery site; maneuver vehicle into loading/unloading positions and secure loads.
• Assist customers with unloading materials safely and accurately and protect product and customer property.
• Verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties including weights, mileage and locations.
• Act as a customer service liaison between the company and site customers and resolve issues as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine safety checks on vehicles; comply with DVIR and HOS requirements.
