Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites, adhering to safety and regulatory requirements. You will load/unload, verify orders, and maintain logs while delivering professional service.

The role requires a Class A CDL, a valid license, and 1 year of delivery driving experience (2 years preferred). Strong English reading and communication skills are essential for success on job sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old.
• Valid driver's license and Class A CDL.
• 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicles and operate truck-trailer combinations.
• Deliver customer orders to specified delivery sites and assist with unloading.
• Verify order details, maintain logs of delivery duties, and ensure order accuracy.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and address concerns as they arise.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks.
• Use hand held devices to ensure DVIR and HOS compliance and complete pre/post trip inspections.
