Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a CDL driver to operate delivery vehicles and transport materials to customer sites. The role requires loading/unloading, securing goods, and maintaining logs for accuracy and safety. You will act as a customer service liaison, resolving issues and ensuring on-time, undamaged deliveries.

Must hold a Class A CDL, pass MVR, and obtain a DOT medical card. The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company guidelines in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old and valid driver's license.
• Class A CDL license required.
• Pass MVR report and obtain DOT medical card.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicles and transport materials to customer sites.
• Load/unload and secure products as needed.
• Verify orders and maintain delivery logs including weights and mileage.
• Act as a customer service liaison and resolve issues.
• Perform safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
• Operate forklift or material handling equipment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
