Job summary

Mid-Am Building Supply seeks a CDL driver to deliver building materials to customers and company locations. You will manage loading/unloading, operate a forklift, and ensure all DOT paperwork is completed accurately. The role requires flexibility to work outside normal hours and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL license and be eligible to operate delivery equipment.
• Able to read and interpret shipping papers and follow written instructions.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug test.
• Experience with building materials is a plus; able to work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers and Mid-Am branches by driving the delivery vehicle.
• Check off materials from shipping papers and obtain signatures.
• Inspect, maintain, and clean delivery vehicle routinely.
• Pick up materials and assist in loading/unloading as needed.
• Secure loads in a safe, orderly manner and operate a forklift when required.
• Complete DOT paperwork and participate in safety meetings.
