Job summary

Performance Food Group in Florida is seeking a CDL-A Driver to join our transportation team and deliver food products to customers on a fixed route. You will be home daily, load and unload, verify delivery against invoices, and maintain safe driving practices in accordance with DOT regulations.

The role requires 12+ months of driving experience, a valid CDL-A, and a clean MVR. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test and DOT Health Card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck delivering food products on scheduled routes.
• Communicates with customers and co-workers professionally for timely questions and answers.
• Performs pre/post trip safety checks and DOT compliance.
• Unloads products and secures freight at customer sites.
• Completes required paperwork and captures signatures on delivery.
• Maintains equipment security and housekeeping in vehicle and dock area.
