Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a delivery driver to service the Kansas City area. You’ll operate a tractor trailer or straight truck, delivering food and related products to customers on a set route while upholding DOT regulations and safety standards.

The role requires 12+ months of driving experience, a valid CDL A, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds. Benefits include Day 1 health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with clean MVR in last 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to meet DOT regulations.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 lbs across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drives and delivers orders on schedule; unloads at customer locations.
• Ensures freight is secured and paperwork is accurate.
• Completes daily hours-of-service records as required.
