Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support our nationwide distribution network. You will inspect tractors, drive to customer sites, log deliveries, and unload shipments while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL-A license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts and conditions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
