Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move products to customers with safety and accuracy. You will inspect vehicles, manage logs, and deliver goods to client sites while following DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and maneuvering skill.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
