Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Driver to join our distribution team in Florida. You will deliver food and related products to our customers, maintaining safety and DOT compliance while representing the company professionally.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with every other Saturday, home daily, and competitive pay with benefits starting Day 1. Eligible drivers enjoy growth opportunities within a stable food distribution network.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain one.
• Able to lift up to 90 pounds and handle equipment.

Aufgaben

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspects equipment.
• Reports safety issues and required repairs.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspects trailers and ensures proper loading and securing of freight.
• Delivers customer orders according to route schedule.
• Unloads products and assists with loading as needed.
• Completes daily hours-of-service records as required.
