McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Brookhaven, MS. You will inspect vehicles, manage bills of lading, and drive safely to customer locations, maintaining logs and delivering products.

Compensation targets around $70,000–$75,000 annually with comprehensive benefits starting Day 1, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Employment requires safety and reliability to support our nationwide distribution network.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Reading, writing, and understanding English at a level sufficient for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on road and customer premises.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
