Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Missouri to join our distribution network. You will operate tractor-trailers, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT logs, and ensure accurate delivery to customers.

Safety, reliability, and timely service are essential to success in this role. Minimum qualifications include a valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, and 1 year or 50,000 miles of driving.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• This position requires reading, writing and understanding English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations, document delivery receipt, product temps and exceptions.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
