Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice in Flint, MI is hiring CDL A Delivery Drivers. You will be the face of the company, delivering products on-time to customers and providing excellent service while adhering to safety standards.

We offer paid training and a pay structure that rewards productivity; most first-year drivers earn between 1,400 and 1,700 per week on a standard five-day schedule. Salary varies by route and conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler and place product in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Collect payments when required.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas in all weather conditions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more than 75 lbs.
• Follow FMCSA DOT hours of service and company safety rules.
• Perform work in compliance with company safety practices.

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic.

About the Job:

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled customer delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler and place product neatly and carefully in designated customer storage areas

• Collect customer payments when required.

• Lift, push or move products that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.
