Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver for day routes based in Kalamazoo, MI. You will deliver products on time, load/unload as needed, and maintain high levels of customer service with our clients.

Starting with paid training, you’ll move into our pay structure with potential earnings aligned to routes and performance. Ideal candidates are safety‑minded, reliable, and committed to representing a family‑owned foodservice distributor.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL license.
• DOT medical card required.
• Background check free of felonies.
• 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations on schedule.
• Manually unload products from trailer and place in storage areas.
• Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures.
• Collect payments when required.
• Operate commercial vehicles safely in various conditions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 75+ lbs occasionally.

Our drivers are the face of Van Eerden and strive to effectively deliver product on-time to our customers, with the highest level of customer service. Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic.

About the Job:

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled customer delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler and place product neatly and carefully in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas in all weather conditions.
• Lift, push or move products that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies

• License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
