Job summary

Sysco Portland is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to safely transport and deliver product to customers. You will unload goods, complete invoices and logs, and maintain sanitation in the vehicle and at delivery sites.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience; training and dedicated routes are provided. Strong communication with customers and reliability are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent + 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted in addition to high school diploma.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart according to customer specs and company standards.
• Ensures all required paperwork and logs are completed accurately and submitted timely.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation in vehicle and during delivery to prevent contamination.
• Develops and maintains good customer relationships with clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
