Job summary

Sysco is seeking a delivery driver to safely and efficiently transport product from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading according to invoices and company standards.

Responsibilities include unloading, completing required paperwork, maintaining food safety, and building strong customer relationships. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, safe lifting and delivery practices.
• Ability to drive long distances and handle various weather conditions.
• Ability to read and speak English, communicate clearly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer by hand or with a hand cart in various conditions according to customer specs and standards.
• Completes paperwork (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports) accurately and promptly.
• Ensures food safety protocols and sanitary conditions inside vehicle and warehouse.
• Develops good relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication.
