Job summary

Sysco Portland is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customers using a tractor-trailer. You’ll unload, verify orders, and maintain clean, compliant delivery procedures in all weather.

Eligible candidates have a High school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience. Expect competitive pay with benefits and regular bi-weekly pay, plus dedicated routes and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted in lieu of high school diploma.
• Valid Class A CDL and insurability required for employment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines and safe lifting/delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer and delivers to customer locations per invoices and standards.
• Ensures all paperwork and logs are accurate and submitted on time.
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and storage areas.
• Builds positive relationships with customers through clear communication and service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
