Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to operate tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, OTR, shuttle, and overnight routes, delivering and unloading food and related products to customers.

The role requires a valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, clean MVR, post-offer drug test and background check, ability to lift 10–90 pounds, and DOT Health Card. Dispatch begins between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM, with Monday–Friday shifts and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR (past 3 years).
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test.
• Ability to lift 10–90 pounds throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and timely.
• Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route schedule and unloads products.
• Verifies delivery with customers and collects signatures as required.
• Keeps required paperwork legible and accurate; completes daily records of hours of service.
