Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a division of Performance Food Group, seeks delivery drivers to ensure timely, accurate food product delivery to restaurants, hotels, schools, and other customers. You will represent the company on the road, perform safety checks, load and unload goods, and maintain clear records throughout your shift.

Eligible candidates have a valid CDL A, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL A required.
• Must meet all state licensing/certification requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR in past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test and DOT Health Card.
• Able to lift/move freight up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on local, intrastate and interstate routes.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT rules.
• Deliver and unload products to customer locations on schedule.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and logs; secure trailers and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
