Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a CDL-A Driver to operate tractor-trailer and straight trucks for intrastate and interstate routes, including local, OTR, shuttle, overnight deliveries. You will load/unload products, maintain DOT compliance, and interact with customers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Possess or obtain DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Ensure timely delivery and unloading of food products.
• Verify delivery with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle cash collections where required and secure returns.
