Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a delivery driver to service food distribution routes, including intrastate and interstate trips, with early-morning dispatches and occasional weekends. Earn potential of $100,000+ with comprehensive benefits starting day one.

Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, accurate delivery verification, and maintaining DOT-compliant logs. Strong customer interaction and safety focus are essential to excel in this role.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Drives a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes and delivers orders on schedule.
• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and ensures vehicle safety standards.
• Unloads products and secures freight; verifies delivery with customer signatures.
• Maintains necessary paperwork for freight and hours of service per company/FDOT rules.
• Completes daily log of hours of service in compliance with federal DOT rules.
