Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, following commercial driving regulations and safe maneuvering.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and conditions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
