Job summary

McLane Co. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Dothan, AL. You will inspect the tractor-trailer, ensure DOT compliance, and deliver to customer sites, while maintaining logs and unloading goods.

The role offers competitive pay of $85,000 to $95,000 per year with bi-weekly pay. Day 1 medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance are provided, plus vacation, sick leave, and a range of voluntary benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination with knowledge of regulations and safe maneuvering.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document temps and exceptions.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
