Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in the United States (Iowa, Ankeny area). The role offers strong starting pay with potential earnings well over six figures for top performers and a generous sign-on bonus. You will inspect, drive, log, and deliver goods, ensuring DOT compliance and safe operations while representing a trusted nationwide network.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination while applying driving regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document delivery receipt.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
