McLane Company, Inc is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to join our team in Ankeny, IA. You will inspect vehicles, manage loads, and deliver products to customer locations, while maintaining quality service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
