Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Glenwood, IL is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to join our nationwide distribution team.

You will inspect vehicles, deliver and unload goods, and maintain DOT compliance while serving our restaurant, retail, and e-commerce clients. We offer strong starting pay, a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience, day-one benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus paid holidays and other perks.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently for safety and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document delivery receipts.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
